Macro Impact of Agricultural Shocks: The Case of Wheat

In my research work, I study how unexpected shocks to agricultural production can influence the economy. By observing market reactions immediately after “triggering events,” I measure their effects on prices, growth, employment, and financial system stability using high-frequency data. My objective is to better understand how these shocks propagate through the U.S. economy, before extending the analysis to other countries.

Observatory & Territorial Analysis

In the first study, the team and I conducted an assessment of the airport platform: number of firms, employees, passenger traffic, etc., to evaluate the quality of the recovery of airport activity after the health crisis.

In the second study, we analyze the economic spillovers of airport activity on surrounding municipalities.
